Real estate developer Necron is registering all its real estate developments at Schiphol Trade Park in Madaster. Thanks to this registration, all its real estate developments, including the Intercity hotel, will receive a materials passport. The comprehensive information in a materials passport makes reuse of materials simple, stimulates smart design and eliminates waste. C2N is involved in the realisation of the Intercity hotel in the role of project manager and will also take care of the realisation of the material passport.
Madaster and Necron are looking forward to this innovative collaboration in order to optimise the sustainable materials.
Necron attaches great value to making our society more sustainable. Following the circular ideas of Madaster is an interesting beacon in this respect. Registering and tracking materials in a materials passport will enable us to monitor the circular and financial value of our buildings in the future,” says Gerard van Liempt, CEO of Necron Holding AG.
