On XL Businesspark Twente in Almelo, the construction of distribution centre Ara Almelo was started in September 2022 by contractor Heembouw.

Ara Almelo distribution centre is situated next to the entrance of XL Businesspark Twente and along the A35 motorway. The distribution centre with four warehouses and four offices is surrounded by a green fence of almost fifteen metres high and almost one kilometre long. By giving nature-inclusiveness a central place in the development, a strong relationship with the surroundings is created, and a pleasant environment to be and to work.
