A new building is being developed for Batavia Biosciences at the Leiden Bio Science Park. The construction phase is currently in full swing. The 12,000 m² building at Leiden Bio Science Park will serve as office, laboratory and production space, where large-scale production of vaccines and medicines will take place in the future.

Provast is the developer of this project and aims to achieve not only the Design Certificate with an Excellent BREEAM score, but also a Completion Certificate with this performance. This Excellent certificate guarantees a high level of sustainability in the building, which during this project is reflected in a completely gas-free building and is equipped with a PV installation on the roof.

During this project, C2N fulfilled the role of BREEAM-NL Expert.
