The newly built distribution centre DC Hydra Utrecht lis located on the Lage Weide industrial estate. This project is characterised by a strong focus on architecture, nature, technology and functionality. This is also reflected in the sprinkler tank, which is designed as Europe’s largest permanent insect hotel.

DC Hydra Utrecht was designed by Heembouw Architects and consists of a multi-tenant industrial hall with mezzanine floor on the 1st floor across the entire width of the front facade. The mezzanine floor is suitable for storage and office expansion. An office with its own entrance is located at both corners of the property. The ground floor comprises a central hall, offices, canteen, and shipping office. The mezzanine floor contains offices, consultation rooms and a central meeting area.

On 16 april 2022, the BREEAM-NL New Build and Renovation design certificate with score Very Good was achieved. C2N fulfilled the role of BREEAM-NL Expert.
