The Diagnostic Center (DC) is part of the VUmc expansion in Amsterdam. The VUmc Master Plan, designed by Studio Hartzema, covers a total area of 460,000 m² and features several innovative elements, such as two atria with indoor gardens, often referred to as the 'green lungs' of the complex.
The new Diagnostic Center is designed with a strong emphasis on sustainability and synergy.
The project received the BREEAM-NL Design Certificate with a Very Good score on May 1, 2018. C2N served as BREEAM Assessor, ensuring the implementation and securing of the project's sustainability goals.
