Udea, the company behind Ekoplaza, started the construction of a new distribution centre at the Foodpark business park in Veghel in June 2018. The total building has a GLA of 30,870 m2 and will replace the two existing centres. Construction started in mid-2018; the building will be completed around April 2019.

For the development of this high-quality distribution centre, a team was put together from UDEA, DENC, van der Heijden B&O and installers. Environmental friendliness and sustainability are of paramount importance at UDEA. The new building must therefore meet the BREEAM Excellent certification. The Design Certificate has now been obtained on 25 February 2019.
