The former Kas Bank in Amsterdam underwent a major renovation and repurposing into the W-Hotel, a luxury five-star hotel. The building, which is a national monument, now offers 66 rooms, a restaurant, spa, fitness center, and shops. This project is an expansion of the existing W Hotel located across from the Kas Bank, which includes 172 rooms and was originally a PTT telephone exchange.
On May 24, 2022, the project was certified with a BREEAM-NL Design Certificate, with a Very Good score. C2N served as the BREEAM Assessor for this project, assisting in meeting the sustainability requirements.
