The Rock is one of the most prestigious office towers in the heart of Amsterdam’s Zuidas district. The building has 24 floors, was designed by Erick van Egeraat and has been described as ‘modern baroque’. The three-way split of plinth, middle section and top is clearly visible on one side, but on other sides it is melted together like ice floes of glass and aluminium panels placed to the front and back.
