The Hague Passage is part of the Spuikwartier. The project was realised on the site of the former Marks & Spencer. The appearance is contemporary and fits in with the new style of this shopping and entertainment area. The well-known architect Bernard Tschumi is the designer.

On 24 October 2011 the BREEAM-NL Temporary Certificate Good (**) was awarded; the certification process for the Definitive Certificate has been completed. The shopping centre has now been festively opened.
