Beneluxlaan in Utrecht

An ESG Due Diligence was carried out by C2N for the development of a 20-storey apartment complex with approximately 200 flats, parking facilities and a commercial plinth on Beneluxlaan in Utrecht. This ESG report was prepared for Fidelity International, with a view to a possible purchase of the property.

The purpose of this ESG report was to identify the opportunities and risks presented by this development related to ESG. This report examined and tested several ESG-related topics such as:

  • BREEAM-NL Quickscan including an assessment of potential optimisations on the designed sustainability concept of the building
  • Carbon Risk Real Estate Monitor (CRREM) pathway to Paris Proof assessment, including recommendations in view of the Paris-Proof targets
  • EU Taxonomy assessment
  • Fidelity Real Estate Sustainibility targets

Based on the above studies, C2N provided an opinion regarding the risks and opportunities that purchase this development related to our client’s ESG policy.
