The head of Oosterdokseiland in Amsterdam has been transformed into a vibrant campus where people can meet, inspire, live, work and recreate. At 225,000 m², Oosterdokseiland was one of the largest inner-city projects in Western Europe. The final plots comprise a social hub, specifically designed to encourage encounters. The building comprises a total of 72,500 m², with public facilities, flats and office space for Booking.com.

Booking.com’s office space covers about 65,000 sqm and is part of the BREEAM certification. The BREEAM-NL design certification was successfully achieved in July 2017, and with an overall score of “Excellent” (**** stars), the Booking.com headquarters can rightly be labelled as a sustainable building. In May 2023, this building achieved another completion certificate with the same “Excellent” score.

Throughout the duration of this project, C2N fulfilled the role of BREEAM-NL Assessor, which contributed to the success and sustainability of the Booking.com headquarters on Oosterdokseiland.
