The head of Oosterdokseiland in Amsterdam is being transformed into a vibrant campus where people can meet, inspire, live, work and recreate. At 225,000 m², Oosterdokseiland is one of the largest inner-city projects in Western Europe. The final plots comprise a social hub, specifically designed to encourage encounters. The building comprises a total of 73,000 m², with public facilities, flats and office space for Booking.com for future growth.
BREEAM-NL New Build certification is being sought for the office part of the building. The BREEAM-NL design certificate was achieved in July 2017. With an overall score of “Excellent” (**** stars), the Booking.com headquarters can rightly call itself a sustainable building. C2N is fulfilling the role of BREEAM-NL Assessor for this project and it is expected that the completion certificate will be achieved in late 2022 / early 2023.
