On September 11 in 2017, the National Postcode Lottery was awarded the Demolition and Dismantling Certificate for the Preparation Phase Excellent. This certificate was obtained for the design of the demolition. Meanwhile, on 5 September 2018, the Implementation Certificate was obtained, with a score of Excellent.

Sustainable demolition goes beyond the environmental aspects. The parts are taken apart as carefully as possible. Not only to reuse the materials, but also to take the immediate surroundings into account by preventing as much dust and noise pollution as possible.

The building on Beethovenstraat in Amsterdam, which has been empty for 10 years, is being transformed. The follow-up work concerns a complete renovation and a substantial expansion.
