The Bank is located in one of the most prestigious locations in Amsterdam. This impressive ‘monumental’ building is more vibrant than ever before thanks to a high-quality mix of hospitality, stores and offices. The Bank houses among others Booking.com, BNP Paribas, Guerilla Games, Marqt, Parking, Shabu Shabu, Shabu Shabu To Go, Starbucks, Vapiano and Wagamama.

Within this reinterpretation, light and space take center stage. The formerly closed plinth has been opened and provided with floor-to-ceiling windows, with a new entrance on the corner of Rembrandtplein. The space above serves as office space. Relief, rhythm and detailing have been restored to the facade. The white roof structure is equipped with a glass skylight. The atrium, previously enclosed in the 1960s, has now been transformed into an expansive light court where glass and natural stone predominate. On the sixth floor, a walkway forms a striking feature.

C2N was commissioned to prepare an ESG report for this project and to develop a sustainability strategy based on that report. This BREEAM In-Use project has been certified with a “Good” rating.
